POPULAR QUESTIONS

  • Do I need to replace bulbs?

    Most of the deck lighting available today is LED and the life span has dramatically increased. Although LED lighting will far outlast traditional Halogen lights of the past, eventually they will need to be replaced.

  • How do they turn on?

    You have a few options for this. You can have an electrician set up a switch inside your home that controls the transformer for the lights. Or, you can use the standard timer and transformer that comes with the lights. The standard timer will automatically sense when it is dark enough for the lights to come on and turn the lights on for you. All you have to do is set the timer for the number of hours you wish the lights to stay on for.

  • Can I add lights to my deck after it is built?

    Yes. In almost all instances, we are able to have lighting installed for your existing deck. Although it is easier during construction and will save you money doing it during construction, it can be done at a later date.

  • Are deck lights easy to repair if damaged?

    Yes. Just give us a call and we can handle the rest. We keep a large inventory of lights in stock to take care of you. All we require is the type, colour and brand of light that we installed for you.
